The case involved products under Indian customs code 9017. The dumping investigation period of this case is from April 2019 to March 2020 (12 months), and the injury investigation period is from April 2016 to March 2017, April 2017 to March 2018, April 2018 to March 2019 and the dumping investigation period.

On December 18, 2019, the Ministry of Commerce and industry of India announced that, in response to the application submitted by the Indian domestic enterprise FMI Ltd, the third anti-dumping sunset review investigation on the measuring tape originating in or imported from China was carried out. The products involved include steel tape measure and its components and fiberglass tape measure (tape measure) and its components. On June 18, 2020, the Ministry of Commerce and industry of India announced that it had made the third antidumping final determination on the measuring tape originating in or imported from China, and proposed to impose an anti-dumping duty on the products involved for a period of five years. The products involved in this case include steel tape measure and its components and glass fiber tape measure (tape measure) and its components. The steel tape measure and its components are 1.83 US dollars / kg, and the glass fiber tape measure and its components are 2.56 US dollars / kg. On July 8, 2020, India began to impose an anti-dumping duty on Chinese tape measures for a period of five years, which is valid until July 7, 2025.
